Cellophunk proudly presents Berho's new band Calm Spirit. The project was started in 2011 with the giutarist Barabás János, simply some classic guitar riffs and solos on hiphop and trtiphop beats. In this year the vocalist Kanizsa Georgina and the percussionist Fekete Attila joined the group with Karkusz Ádám on the bass, and started to record and arrange the ideas, featuring two folksider instrumentalists Imrei Johanna and Erdei Dávid. CPHNK006 :: Gibreel Lounge - Fény

The 6th release is from Gibreel Lounge duet,  that was created by the producer Berho, and the professional singer Zsuzsi Bende. "Fény" means "light" in Hungarian, that make accessible the world, and, in the long run, the reality for the human race. In Hungarian there's linguistic contact between these two notions: Light ("Fény") and World ("Világ"). This basic idea has interpreted in this melodic, sentimental chill-out track, also in liquid-melodic drumandbass version of Berho.  The middle track, Surrender, is vocalic kind of trip-hop sound, carrying  ordinary message about  tolerance and fearless enlightened consciousness.

Next release is from the label's boss, Implant! Implant is a hopeful producer and DJ mostly of atmospheric-minimalist-liquid drumandbass, using long delayed pads and synths by choice with exact programmed roller-grooves and abysmal deep bass lines. Hummingbird EP contains two of his impressive tunes and both of their remixes, from Berho and Zero Method.

Introduction

Cellophunk netlabel was set up by Hungary based crew called Celofán Kollektíva - also known as CK Kru. They have been around since 2001, organizing electronic music events in Szolnok town. Founded by hungarian dj called Implant, the crew has been playing drum&bass, breaks, tech, house, jazz, broken beats and hip-hop over the years to the crowd at a number of series of gigs such as Soulnok Beatz, Psy and Bass, Soulfage, Chill Pictures. The members are nowadays: GB Carotin, Jovial, Constant, DST, Lesliebarhx, Advanced, Lov, Leslie Butcher, MC Barhx, Nu Clear aka. MC BC, Jaail and Implant. The idea of a netlabel came to our mind years ago, but it took us nearly two years to put the first release together. There are no musical boundries - we would like to release as much good music as we can. The forthcoming tracks are expected from our well known friends and unreleased or newcomer guys - original tunes and some remixes as well. All the tunes will be free to download.
